Visual Processing Skills

Visual processing skills are skills that are important to strengthen at a young age. Many children have a hard time reading and focusing yet have 20/20 vision. This is because their visual processing skills are poor. Kids who struggle with this skill have a difficult time reading, the words on the page begin to appear blurry and won't stay in focus often causing headaches. This affects a child's attention, can become frustrating and eventually effect a child's grades. Luckily it is easy to fix and can be worked on through practice and patience. Parents can find eye exercises and work on them with their children.
