Beep Baseball
My entire life I have been involved in sports; I would be devastated if something happened and I was unable to play. Reading and watching the video on beep baseball I thought was awesome. The fact that individuals have the opportunity to play a sport they love while they can't see is great. I know how much it would mean to me if I could still play a sport after having a major life change like the loss of a sense. Because of this, this video was by far my favorite. Seeing how enthusiastic and into the game the players were, and how happy it made them made me happy as well. Being an athlete I can relate to the emotions of being out on the field, and seeing them be able to do it with beep baseball was awesome to watch.

I've also been athletic throughout my life, and both of my brothers are incredibly involved with baseball (one of which is looking into playing in college). I think the general seeing public believes that the quality of life for blind individuals is much poorer, and we never consider that they would be able to perform a task as routine as playing sports. I think we all take our independence for granted, but it is definitely great to know that beep baseball provides blind athletes to remain independent and enjoy the same pastimes as individuals with sight.
