Researchers Study the Brain

Recently, Stanford University Neuroscientist "Sergiu Pasca" and other scientists are studying parts of the brain to research more about diseases, such as autism or schizophrenia. Their objective is to be able to develop more treatments for these diseases, and to research more about how they affect the brain. These researchers are growing parts of the human brain from skin cells of an actual human with one of these diseases. These little particles are placed in petri dishes, in a movement to create organoids, which are miniature versions of the bodies organs.
