Strabismus
Strabismus is when your eyes do not align properly. Strabismus is most commonly known as crossed eyes and occurs more frequently in children under six. There are different types of strabismus: infantile esotropia and acquired esotropia. Infantile occurs before the first year of life and is usually heredity. Infantile esotropia requires surgery to fix. Acquired Esotropia occurs in children ages 2-5 and can be repaired using eye glasses.
