Vertigo and the Senses



Vertigo is a sense of rotation, rocking, or the world spinning, experienced even when someone is perfectly still. It is caused by inflammation of the inner ear. I had acute Vertigo after hitting my head twice in one day. It seemed like the whole world was spinning and all my senses and responses were delayed. It was extremely hard to walk in a straight line. Below is a video of what it is like to try to walk in a straight line with Vertigo.

    Vertigo is really interesting because you never expect your ears to have such an impact on your ability to walk in a straight line. It seems like something so small can severely affect your world.
