Congenital Insensitivity

Our ability to feel pain is an evolutionary tactic that has kept humans alive for millions of years. With this in mind, you would think it odd for there to be people who can't feel pain correct? Congenital Insensitivity is actually a disorder where someone has an inability to feel pain. This disorder is very rare with only 20 known cases. When you have Congenital Insensitivity, it's not that you don't have sensory receptors, its just that they are incapable of picking up pain.
