Blog #3 Amazing Anamorphic Illusions!


If you've never heard of or seen Anamorphic Illusions before, prepare to be amazed. Anamorphosis is a distorted projection or perspective requiring the viewer to use special devices or occupy a specific vantage point to reconstitute the image-Wikipedia. What that means basically is that your perspective creates the illusion.  I came across this Anamorphic Illusions video on YouTube the other day and I thought it would make a good blog for this class. I have always had an interest in Optical illusions but I had never heard of Anamorphic Illusions so I was interested. I don't want to spoil your perception of the video, if you've never seen it, so let me just tell you that the cameras perspective creates the illusion. You'll know what I mean after you see it.
