Perception and taste

perception of taste seems to diminish overtime. The experiment concentrated on elderly persons who seem to lose their taste overtime. Agreeing with the assumption of the experiment that perceptual loss of taste inoral sensations becomes increased, may not be diminished. the oral sensation of taste deals with so many areas of the mouth that it seems it is impossible for the whole mouth to loss its sens of taste. Though the main focal taste buds such as sweet, salty, sour, bitter seem to be the most essential tastes so it only makes sense that it would be taken away overtime.
