Visual Angle

The text, Sensation and Perception, states that Visual Angle is the angle of an object relative to the viewers eye. The visual angle can be seen by measuring the distance of the whole object from the viewers lens. Once this is completed we may then concur how large the object will appear on the back of the viewers eye. The most interesting aspect of this technique is optical illusions that can be produced from visual angle. Pictures can be taken of certain scenes to make things that look real, but really are not real. For example here are a few awesome picture scenes of visual angle-

Pretty easy to make, huh? Try making your own too, it's a lot of fun and passes time !

  4. I love pictures like these. I'm actually studying abroad next semester so I hope to take a couple of these myself!! Visual angle can make things look so different, some in a good angles and some even in bad angles.
