Visual Attention

Based on what we learned in class about visual attention and how it is achieved. Visual attention is conceived simply as a mental process occurring within the visual brain. Eye movements are our most common behavioural act and for each gaze shift the brain selects a new location to direct the eyes. There is an application that you can download that is called Visual Attention Therapy which is designed to help those with dyslexia, who had a stroke, brain injury and other special needs to scan from left to right across the screen. The design is based on the evidence supported cancellation activity which calculates the results for you!
