Learning a New Language

Today in lecture, we reviewed concepts of people speaking with different languages and how difficult it is to learn a new one. My parents are both Middle Eastern but moved here about 30 years ago. It is still hard for them to pronounce certain words in English even though they have lived here for so long. When people start learning a new language, they start memorizing new words and breaking down complex grammatical structures. As they continue to study and observe others, it gets easier and those complex syllables no longer become incomprehensible.
