Tuvan Throat Singing -4th post SONA alternative

Tuvan throat singers are able to produce a number of tones at once. They do this by shaping their throat, lips and mouth This ability to create a range of notes, including a melody and several harmonic overtones, is used to imitate sounds of nature. The three main styles of Tuvan throat singing are Khoomei, kargyraa and sygyt.

  1. I am a singer and when we watched this video in class I was AMAZED. This take true talent to do such a vocal skill. At first, I thought the girl wasn't singing and then I realized she was. Wish I could have that type of vocal talent!
