Anosmia
Anosmia is a disease where someone experiences the inability to smell. For some people its the inability to smell anything and for others its the inability to smell certain things. Anosmia is caused by things such as nasal polyps, toxic chemicals, or even certain antibiotics. Approximately 2 million people suffer from Anosmia but very few ever seek treatment.

That's extremely interesting. Having the inability to smell probably also affects the way you would or would not taste certain foods which would certainly not be fun not being able to taste your favorite foods!
