Dragon Illusion

The Dragon Illusion is an interesting optical illusion. This illusion tests the brains knowledge on solid objects and how we perceive them. When we move around while viewing an object, our brain knows how that object should behave. With the "Dragon Illusion", our brain is fooled into believing the dragon paper cutout is following us. It seems as though the Dragons eyes are moving to face the viewer wherever they travel throughout the room. This happens because we misinterpret the shape of the dragon. We assume the nose of the dragon is pointing towards us when in fact it is concave. Here's a video of the Dragon Illusion and a cut out to make your own at home!
