When I t...I think your post was really interesting! When I try and walk through my house in the dark at night, I sometimes have trouble and bump into furniture as well. It amazes me that we are able to adapt when we are unable to use one of our senses. I definitely agree that focusing on your surroundings will help you hear where a person or object is, even if you cannot see.
